Desolation Sound Yacht Charters Ltd., located in Comox on Vancouver Island, has operated a fleet of 30 meticulously maintained sail and power yachts from 25 to 44 feet for bareboat chartering and Cruise ‘n Learn courses for over 25 years.

Desolation Sound is our cruising area and is an area of majestic beauty unmatched anywhere in the world. Lushly forested mountains tower over protected waterways and peaceful anchorages nestle in virtually undisturbed wilderness. Hikers will find trails from most anchorages to numerous pristine lakes, with soaring eagles, foraging deer and mountain goats for company. Summertime saltwater temperatures are consistently in the 24°C (75°F) range. We are located only hours away from this cruising Mecca and are the closest full service charter operation to Desolation Sound.
